Each essay offers personal insight from one of our expert contributors, accompanied by supporting data and an elegant portrait by illustrator Helen Green. The end result is a stylish marriage of personality and practicality.

Hack for Good
Hack for Good unites brands and cause organisations as they join forces with Facebook creatives. Working together, these partners create bright ideas and clever campaigns that help to solve some of the planet’s biggest challenges.


Human After All’s work is always beautifully crafted. They’re considered one of the top partners within our organisation.
We wrote and designed a practical guidebook to lead Facebook employees through every step of the process — from initial preparation to the Hack itself and the final campaign. We also created an on-the-day reference guide, plus a brochure and animated video to help recruit new brands and change partners to the Hack for Good cause.

Boost with Facebook
Boost with Facebook helps small businesses connect to a community of supportive peers. Through free training, events and live support, the program offers a “boost” that empowers participants to grow and thrive.
When Facebook company revealed its new brand architecture in 2019, we were asked to create brand guidelines for Boost with Facebook. This was one of the first sub-brands to receive such guidance, so the project served as an important demonstration of the new branding in action.


We’ve been honoured to work closely with Human After All. We continue to be blown away by their artistic grace and dedication.
Our job was to turn the sub-brand’s foundational components into a full toolkit, one that could be shared with Facebook designers and partner agencies all over the world. The guidelines included comprehensive rules for messaging, photography and event design — everything needed to bring the brand to life. We also created rules for how Boost with Facebook interacts with other sub-brands.
